WHEN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM WON'T LET GO

IV Ketamine Therapy
for PTSD

An emerging treatment approach for persistent
PTSD symptoms when traditional treatment
hasn't provided enough relief.

Healing Beyond Survival Mode

Living with PTSD can feel like your nervous system is constantly on high alert. Memories, emotions, or situations that remind you of the past may trigger intense fear, anxiety, hypervigilance, emotional numbness, or avoidance, making it difficult to feel safe and fully present in everyday life.

PTSD can affect far more than memories. It can influence sleep, relationships, concentration, work, and your ability to experience connection, meaning, and joy.

While trauma-focused therapy and medication help many people, some continue to experience persistent symptoms despite treatment. IV ketamine offers a different approach and may help create an opportunity for the brain to respond to traumatic memories and emotional patterns with greater flexibility.

Healing from trauma doesn't mean forgetting what happened. It means helping your brain and nervous system learn that you no longer have to live in survival mode.

A DIFFERENT PATHWAY TO HEALING

How IV Ketamine Therapy May Support Change

Ketamine acts primarily through the brain’s glutamate system and is associated with changes in synaptic plasticity, the brain’s capacity to form and strengthen neural connections.

At Revival, ketamine is not viewed as a replacement for trauma-focused care, but as one potential component of a broader, individualized treatment plan.

What to Expect

Treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation to determine whether ketamine therapy is appropriate for your needs. If you are a candidate, most patients begin with a series of six ketamine infusions over approximately three weeks.

Each infusion lasts about 40 minutes in a comfortable private treatment room with continuous monitoring throughout your session. Many patients choose to listen to music, wear an eye mask, and simply relax while allowing the experience to unfold naturally.

Following treatment, you'll spend a brief recovery period in the office before returning home with your designated driver.
